Two-toed sloths are slow-moving, tree-dwelling mammals native to the rainforests of Central and South America. Unlike their three-toed relatives, they have two claws on their front limbs and are generally larger, with a more varied diet that includes leaves, fruits, and occasional small animals. Primarily nocturnal, they spend most of their lives hanging upside down in trees, relying on their strong limbs and slow metabolism to conserve energy.
